That damned third act

I'm still playing the waiting game. We had a meeting last weekend but didn't get much accomplished. The third act seems to our problem.

We think it's a fine third act, but there are a couple of elements that we aren't exactly happy with. There's this huge fight sequence, but we're trying to figure out the dynamics of how to get all the players and observors to the location without it seeming forced. Plus, it is felt that the hero comes back against impossible odds to win. Sure, that's what heroes do, but we want it to be realistic and right now, we have concerns.

The director and producer are discussing the problems and we're hoping for a meeting next weekend so that I can put this puppy to rest.
